Custom assets, animations, particle systems, lighting & more
I've made various custom assets for use in a range of projects, with a heavy focus on Tabletop Simulator.
Using Blender I can model, texture and animate custom assets from scratch. They're then imported into Unity where any particle systems, sound effects or other game components are added. Once in-game they're programmed using the Lua API and any user interfaces are added with the XML API.
Particle systems
From weather to explosions, fireworks to magic effects, I've used the Unity particle system to add life to projects in a range of styles. With a focus on optimisation I try to get the best results for the least resources. A careful use of layered effects and attention to detail goes into each step of my work.
Animated assets
I particularly enjoy making robots, mechanisms and machines. Whether they're environmental props or character models, I can model and texture them as well as rig and animate them. I have experience with both low- and high-poly workflows.
Interactive elements
I've made various assets with controller interfaces built in, allowing the object to respond to the player's input. Often these take the form of 3D-printers or other machinery, such as the printer below which features heavily in a spinning-top game.
